Who is the Lord your God? By what name do you call upon Him. Know that the Lord your God has many names, all of which directly correlate to who He says He is. When someone does another person wrong their reputation is tainted. If someone got caught stealing by the police they are now identified as a thief. Why is that? Because people always remember. We remember the things that people have done for or against us. We emphasize what they have done, to the point where we identify them by a new name.
Our God has many names, in which we can call upon Him. Due to His reputation, we can call out His name and He will identify as being all that we need. Call on His name when you don’t have money for tuition and He said He will provide. When it seems as the enemy is pursuing you and it appears as if he is closing in, our God said that He will be your banner. Just trust in who He says He is and who He has proven Himself to be.
He is Jireh, Nissi, Rapha, Shalom, Adonai, El Shaddai, Redeemer, Restorer, Healer. He is everything and He is able to do all things because He is Lord.
Prayer: Lord. Help me to know who You are. Help me to know that when I call on Your name, you will answer. I thank You for being my present help, meaning whatever I am lacking and whatever I need, I can call on Your many names. You are all I need and all I want. Thank you, Father, in Jesus name, Amen.
