1 Corinthians 2:9-10 – But this is precisely what is written: God has prepared things for those who love him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, who obey Him, and who gratefully recognize the benefits that He has bestowed] that no eye has seen, nor ear has heard, or that haven’t crossed the mind of any human being. God has revealed these things to us through His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit searches everything, including the depths of God.”
Because the Holy Spirit has come, the ignorance that once existed among God’s people has permanently been eliminated if they submit to the Holy Spirit’s leading. No one can rightfully claim ignorance for not knowing the will of God. This verse clearly reveals that God does not want His people to be ignorant about His purposes, blessings, promises, and provisions that He has carefully planned for their lives.
When Jesus ascended to the right hand of the Father, the Holy Spirit came. One of the major works of the Holy Spirit in our life is to remove the scales that once obstructed our view. We now have eyes that can see, ears that can ear, and hearts that can fully comprehend the specific, special plans that God has prepared for each of us.
The days of not knowing what God has prepared for you is gone forever! The Holy Spirit now lives inside of you if you indeed believe that Jesus is Lord and still lives. The Holy Spirit wants to reveal God’s blessings, promises, provisions, and plans to you and me. If you’ll develop a spiritual sensitivity and learn to listen to His voice, God will reveal everything that He has meticulously planned for you, so you can be all He has destined you to be.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the presence and the ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life. Father, since you have planned my life and have sent the Holy Spirit to reveal Your plans for me to me, from this day forward, I want to let the Holy Spirit provide the revelation I need to fulfill these plans. I yield myself and ask for Your grace to surrender completely to Your will and the leading of your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
