Love

Love

Love 150 150 Stage - BCF

“All the rivers flow to the sea. But the sea never becomes full.” Ecclesiastes‬ 1:7‬ ICB‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

When I️ think of God’s love. I️ almost always think about an ocean. I️ picture myself in the middle of the ocean, floating. When you float, there’s no work that needs to be done. All you have to do is be still. You just have to be calm. When you start to get a little anxious and restless, you begin to sink. I think of the peace that comes with floating. Knowing that I am being lifted by someone that is strong enough to carry me. It’s like His grace is the current.

I imagine Him pulling me deeper and deeper into Him, where His love is surrounding me. Then I imagine a lighthouse. To most, if you are deserted a lighthouse represents a beacon of hope. Depending on where I am in life, I imagine myself in the lighthouse if I need to remind myself of what Christ has done for me. Sometimes I just see myself lifted, carried, and sustained by His love, pulled by His grace and remembering the hope He has given me.

Prayer: God, I thank you for loving me the way You do and creating me the way You did. Help me to understand what Your love looks to me because I️ am a visual learner. Your love is unmatched and cannot be fathomed, so reveal yourself to me daily. In Jesus name, Amen.
