Don’t Give Up

Don’t Give Up

Don’t Give Up 150 150 Stage - BCF

Galatians 6:9 – Let us not become weary in [get tired of] doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Have you been trusting God for a desire of your heart to burst forth in your life but have gotten discouraged during the time of waiting?  I want to encourage you not to quit trusting God. You can rest assured that if you don’t give up doing what God asks of you in seeking His Kingdom and His righteousness above all else, God certainly won’t fail to perform His Word for you!  God promised in Galatians 6:9 “…don’t become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

It’s exciting to plant seeds of faith, and it’s even more exciting when the harvest comes. But, to reach that point, you must hold tight to what God has told you and obey what His Word has instructed you to do.  Remember that your seeds of righteousness have a set time and season where they will produce fruit. In the same way, we endure in doing good because we not only sow seeds of righteousness that eventually bear fruit, but our seeds of unrighteousness will reap a harvest as well.  [Galatians 6:8-9, Job 4:8, and Hosea 10:13]. God’s forgiveness is always present, as is the set time for harvest. With this, let our focus always be on God and the enduring of our faith as seen above in Galatians 6:9. Stay on course with what God is leading you to do, and it is guaranteed that you will receive what His will has in store for you.

If you have experienced the temptation to give up, be encouraged and do not loosen your grip on your current walk of righteousness.  Remain steadfast and the waiting will eventually end, and your harvest will come! Whatever you are trusting God for – maybe salvation for your family, a financial breakthrough, a breakthrough in a relationship, physical healing, restoration in some other area – rest in the truth that God’s Word and promises are eternal.

God’s Word is absolutely true! Remain committed and stay faithful, thanking Him for a His daily provision and the harvest in store that is tailor-made just for you!

PRAYER:

Lord God, I ask for patience in my walk of faith.  I ask that Your Holy Spirit teaches me to be content with what I have and that I not forsake righteousness for the cares of this world.  As I wait for the seeds I’ve sown to grow and multiply in my life, continue to teach me Your ways. Protect me from the pride of life. Thank You for the plan You have meticulously carved out for my life.  You are faithful, Your Word is true. Beginning today I rest in those truths. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
